Emily

I haven't written about me for a while.
Josh and I have acquired a condo to use as a rental property. It has been really a lot of work. I am trying to deal with most of it since Josh already has a day job. As if raising a baby wasn't enough. I have been cleaning, painting, tearing out cabinets, taking a million phone calls, checking references and stressing myself out. I am exhausted and overwhelmed and really grumpy!
Also, as you read, prior post, we are trying to get Aiden to have a bedtime routine (unswaddled). I CANNOT handle his crying to sleep. Josh thinks we need to and I am about ready to lose it. I am starting to read some book about it so I can help myself overcome this. Any help or suggestions? Mostly for me to deal better.
Still working with my Trainer at the gym. Only 93 sessions to go. Josh went with me on Friday and he now feels my pain, literally.
Not the most upbeat post ever, now you see why I mostly blog about Aiden.

Burrito

Aiden has not been able to sleep (for more than a 30 min nap) unless he is swaddled. Lots of you have seen it and laughed. I was concerned we would have to swaddle him until he was 16.
Well last night he did it. He slept unswaddled! Granted half the night he slept next to Mommy so she could keep putting his binky back in. But we are getting there. At least for hours he slept alone in his cradle unwrapped. I am going to miss my baby burrito. (No pictures of him unswaddled last night. Didn't want to wake him)

Like Mother, Like Son

Aiden finally got his first 4-wheeler! Hopefully no broken ribs for this guy.
I was perusing the D.I. Yes folks, I said the D.I. and what to my wandering eyes should appear?
Deal of the century, $3.00. I am now a fan of the D.I.(Deseret Industries)

Side Note, most don't know the heading picture on our blog page is of a 4-wheeler suspended in a tree. The handy work of one, Emily. That is how the broken rib comment ties in.

Nothing New

I was thinking I hadn't posted in a while. I wanted to, so usually I go through our pictures and it reminds me of an event to write about. Nothin new.... So how 'bout
The cutest guy in the world... according to me
OK we do realize at some point we have to stop taking these pictures, but it's too cute.

Aiden had his 6 month check up. Nothing to write home about. He got 4 shots and was miserable for days. He's still small, thank you we know, enough with the comments.
Weight 15 lbs 1 oz. Height 26 1/2". Head 43 cm ("It's frickin' huge"(Irish accent))(name that movie).
Josh is currently taking his first business trip, in his new position. Good Luck Daddy! He is going to be traveling a bit more than we would like but hopefully it will be worth it. Bring us back lots of presents!
I am still doing the same things laundry and cleaning, it NEVER ends! Nothing new...

My Christmas Present

Josh gave me a Cricut machine for my birthday and Christmas. (Side note, normally this would not be allowed... however I asked him to, so nobody else better think this is acceptable.)

I am crazy about it. I did some minor crafty stuff for the holidays,

but now I am breaking out the big guns. My house will soon be phrase crazy!

Love, Love, Love it!
