Spring Cleaning

I have been cleaning out my office and have come upon the greatest treasurers. That is what I LOVE about cleaning.

This was a stop off in Calico, CA. An old ghost town. How much fun was that? Wow has my boy grown.

A Boy and His Dog

I was just looking through my pictures to see if I had anything to blog about and came across this

One morning, Aiden was hysterical about going outside. It was bad, so I just grabbed his coat, boots, and hat (LOVE the hat Tiffany R. Still think I got the better deal.)
I don't know if you can see his Sea World Jammies on under there. You really need to click on the picture to get the full effect.

MUST comment

****Josh says he's has enough, so only comment if you agree with him. Plus, I guess there are no men that read our blog. Hmmmmm

I need opinions, so if you read this you must comment!
Josh and I were at Arctic Circle with Aiden. There was a little boy about to hit Aiden. Josh told him to stop and said he would flick his hand just like he does when Aiden hits. Is this OK? I am going with NO. I think it is fine to SAY something to somebody else's child if they are misbehaving, but under no circumstances should you ever touch, in any way, including flicking the hand, a strangers kid. What do you think? If somebody flicked my kids hand I would FREAK out. I believe in punishment but it should be done by the parents. Josh thinks it is perfectly alright to punish, by flicking apparently, other peoples kids.

Spring

I have had so many blog posts go in my head these last few weeks. All with clever titles of course. But the Easter pictures are on Josh's camera, which for some reason won't download to my computer. We have been super busy. But oh these last few glorious days of sunshine. We have been living outside. Gets Aiden up off the Luv Sac watching "Bolt" and out of the house. It has resulted in us finally gettinf a door on our bedroom! I am able to paint outside while Aiden; tries to get eaten by a horse, sneaks off to the scary neighbors yard, plays with pieces of glass, and oh yes, pushes his stroller around screaming and tantruming when it gets stuck, only to leave it behind Mommy's truck and have it get run over when she leaves for work. Wow was that a run on sentence.
I have lately just been devouring every lovely thing about my son. We went through a rough patch a couple weeks ago, he and I. But this last week, I am adoring him. Don't get me wrong, he is still a terror, but I have changed. I look at his almost curls he is getting and I am the happiest mother there ever was. He has turned into the cutest little boy. Everything he does makes me laugh. Most moms would cringe, but I am gleeful when he sings, "Gives you Hell"?? By All American Rejects. So we are just hanging out and now he is awake so I have to go spend another blissful day with my Monkey.

Grammar

I'd like to talk about The Period. Not the grammar kind but the gross kind. I call it "The" Period because it is horrible, just like The Measles, The Mumps, The Chicken Pox.... See where I am going with this? There should be a cure for it. And not one that leaves you with a child at the end...

Huh

Does anybody elses toddler stay up until 11pm watching movies? Even without taking a nap in the day? Huh? Guess Daddy's out of town.

PS: This new found movie watching is amazing. I do limit it and only if I am laying with him snuggling, but he can actually sit through a movie. Yipee! It may be only because he is sick and this could all end as soon as he is better. So far he has made it through "Bolt" and "Shrek." I tried "Horten Hears a Who," and about 15 minutes into it he said "goggy moobie." Translation, Doggie Movie, which is "Bolt." Which is for sure his favorite.

Hi my name is Emily and I'm a shopaholic

Lately Aiden's clothes have been looking a little snug. It has been since last June in New York that I have had to buy him clothes ( I got a couple sizes bigger wardrobes too). Then this week Josh calls me and asks if I want to spend the weekend in New York. Of Course. Then it got canceled, stupid work! Next week he is going to Orlando which we could go if we wanted but I just imagined the expense of Disney World and decided against it. But then today Rachael said, Do you want to go shopping at the outlets in Park City." Heck yes! Josh's wonderful mom watched Aiden during Priesthood conference so there wasn't a rush to get home, and away we went. I walked so much my stupid boot started chaffing :( But Aiden has some pretty handsome new outfits and shoes. He LOVES shoes. Cute Pictures to come I'm sure. Not as wonderful as shopping in New York was but also not nearly as costly. I remember the days when I LOVED shopping for myself. I only came home with a pair of shoes and a jacket. My little boy is spoiled rotten. Which reminds me, Yesterday Rachael said when Aiden grows up hes going to be one of those old guys who only wears sweats all the time, because his mom dressed him to the hilt all the time. :) Oh and she said, "and he will scratch his big belly." To which I replied, "He won't be able to because I will still be making him wear a white onsie under everything." He he. If the boy didn't feel it was absolutely necessary to try to pull his diaper off or stick his hands down his pants, maybe I'd give him a break once in a while.

Crazy Busy

I got a couple of comments asking what my business cards were for. Just finally getting around to getting business cards for my profession as a REALTOR :) I haven't done any work in the real estate industry and would REALLY love to, so if you know any body thinking about buying or selling a house send them my way. I will give them a great deal. Most Realtors work for 3% commission. I haven't worked out all the details, but I am going to either do a cash back program or you can take the money off the price of the house you are purchasing (probably 1%). Of course with selling a home, you would just pay me less commission. Still working out the details.... Send business my way:)

I did get a part time job. I am working a a learning center (Kumon). I work Monday and Thursday from 3:30pm-7:30pm. We are not dying financially, but we do have a lot of debt from remodeling the house and Josh and I have expensive wants, so this should help out a little. That and the normal chaos of life is what is keeping me so busy. Oh and we think Aiden has a little cold, cuz he is one grumpy, needy, baby. So is life.....
